La Fabrique d’Or, 2021 Alexandre Aldavert
Subtile is delighted to welcome Rick Serrano, painter, philosopher and lecturer and the photographer and short stories teller Alexandre Aldavert currently exhibiting in our gallery to converse about human nature, its beauties and its imperfections.
Going out in the middle of the night to observe nature, delicately, respectfully, opening our sensitivity to the maximum and allowing silence to become part of the image…
Watching over nature, without judging it, without interrupting it, letting the stillness curdle in full acceptance…
Letting go of the need for certainty… opening up to the possibilities… with gentleness, delicacy and attention, letting the deepest philosophical questions emerge…
The originality of Alexandre’s works is that is artwork is not only the photography but the story written as an addition to the visual appreciation. The photography can be seen sometimes as a pretext to discover words and ideas and the processus of scenography which is long and creative helps him to order his ideas to produce the final story.
When philosophy becomes photographic…
Together, Rick and Alexandre will unveil the philosophical currents that inhabit Alexandre’s resilience-resistance photographic series in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

“Set in the bowels of the earth, the gem finishes its moult, entangled between the dark roots.
Its mauve glow announces the millennial message. A metamorphosis that only coincides with the joy of the first encounter”
