The Rencontres have been a staple in the photography world for nearly a decade, hosting biennial events in the stunning Palais d’Arlon, on the border of Luxembourg.

Personally, as the granddaughter of a professional photographer, I have attended every festival they have organized. The Rencontres always celebrate a skilled photographer – Christophe Jacrot– not to be missed! -and offer photography workshops ranging from a few hours to several days.

This year, I had the honor of being part of the selection process, and we collectively decided to strengthen the connection between Luxembourg and Belgium to promote this wonderful festival even further.

Each photographer has selected a photo from a series that is not exhibited in Arlon to provide you with a broader insight into their talent. Furthermore, the Palais will be partially reconstituted to immerse you in this beautiful space and to see the works that will be on display.
