From the fluid, dream-like “Memories of Liquid Days” to the intense, silent landscapes of “Aux Bords du Monde,” Picard’s work explores the fragile boundaries between land and sea, presence and absence. Influenced by childhood memories and a unique visual perception, his photography uses soft grey light and textured Polaroid negatives to create a universe where time and place feel beautifully suspended.
