gILLIANE WARZEE POSTER
Gilliane Warzée was born on December 19, 1977 in Bastogne, Belgium. She is a nurse at the Kirchberg Hospital but is also a graduate of the Institute des Beaux-Arts Arlon, where she studied painting from September 2006 to June 2009.
Portraits are her favorite theme. Faces fascinate her. They are the physical reflection of the inner self. Through their representation, technique and colors, she tries to suggest the emotions, feelings and thoughts of her characters, with the aim of making her works as humanistic, expressive and interactive as possible.

After more than a year exhibiting at the emblematic  AM TUNNEL gallery in Luxembourg and her immeasurable success, including a commission for a portrait of the Grand Duchess by His Royal Highness the Grand Duke in admiration of her “knife” method, Subtile is honored to welcome Gilliane, an extremely outgoing and generous artist, for a new series. This series explores the mystical union of man and animal. Her paintings are tributes to these guides, evoking a world dominated by the strength and ancestral wisdom of nature.

The exhibition will take place from 14 December till 28 January 2024. Opening on Thursday 14 December from 5 to 9pm.

We look forward to welcoming you with Gilliane on 14 December.
