Live painting of YOUR Portrait “Les Yeux Dans Les Yeux”. Through her drawings, Véronique van der Wielen (Belgium) immortalizes an invisible movement, an energy, an emotion, an authentic encounter. Without being looked at, her paper welcome her gesture in one and only one line.
During a week-end, Véronique will be present in our gallery and will propose a real live portrait experience, for you, your beloved one, your friends or yet your colleagues.
Take the time to sit down, to discuss with our artist, to let yourself be watched, with this sincerity of the link to oneself and the other.
The drawings will be witnesses of the encounter, the acknowledgment and the acceptance of “who you are”, here and now.
You will experience a moment of sharing, a recognition and a confirmation of “who you are”, here and now.
Bio: In her second life, Véronique learnt drawing techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts,. Her speciality: the living model, in movement. She learns to observe the body, its oscillations, “what is”, without judgment. One of her training courses led her to become interested in intuitive art, through the discovery of the portrait. This is how the project “Les Yeux Dans Les Yeux” was born. This intuitive work led her to the authentic contact with the human being, in Belgium, and during numerous expeditions – Mongolia, Nepal, India, Southern Europe. Captivated by the expression of emotions, she also learned the technique of “Family Constellations”. I quickly discovered that the power of portraiture reinforces and completes this therapeutic work. To date, she has portrayed more than 700 people, from here and elsewhere, “Les Yeux Dans Les Yeux”.
“These “shared glances” are my source of inspiration, the foundation of my artistic approach which I use in different forms: street art, exhibitions, performances, individual consultations”.

On Friday evening, for the opening of the evening, Carlos Torres Maurer, originally from Mexico but living now in Anvers, musician and guitar professor will touch you by his incredible personality of sensitivity and kindness. His search for answers to complex philosophical questions and his passion for mathematics never leaves him, and by exchanging with him you will explore the foundations of our humanity in one evening through music and through words. With his acoustic guitare let’s explore meditative and South American music for one hour of concert.
How the event will be run and how to proceed
- We recommend you book your time slot (1h) by filling in below the Registration form and we will contact you to know what portrait you wish to experiment and what time slot is available. Check below the format and the prices.
- You can choose between an Individual Portrait, Portrait of a couple, Portrait of a group/family, Portrait of a child/a baby.
- You will receive a series of 3 drawings in A3 format (individual portrait) and A2 format (group portrait), in color or in black & white. The format may vary depending on your choice.
- Your portraits will be directly signed and packed

10/06 – 11am-6pm. Live painting (7 slots)
11/06 – 11am-3pm. Live painting (4 slots)
Should you not be able to attend but you are interested to live this experience and get a portrait, just contact us and we will arrange a suitable time for you.
