A reading of one short story extracted from his book Tomber les Masques with the author Jean-Michel Gaudron: guess the end of the story and win one of his autographed books!
Tomber les Masques is a collection of thirteen short stories, which Jean-Michel wrote after March 2020. The title is a nod to this period of health crisis because the author did not want to write about the COVID context. As he explained: “It was sufficiently distressing, sufficiently heavy, sufficiently leaden to not add a layer to it. It’s obviously a double entendre, there’s this mask that it would be nice if one day we could finally get rid of it! And then it’s a wink to the mechanics of the texts because each story really ends on the last sentence. I think it’s great fun to get the reader on board with blue and in fact at the end it’s yellow… To surprise them”.
For this reading, the author will be accompanied by Annaïg Giquel-Donadieu, who will exhibit for the occasion her photography that seduced Jean-Michel Gaudron being a lover of Luxembourg and Brittany.
