Diana pictures based on her body memories evoke the narrative of her life experience story. Actually she lives between Ecuador en Belgium.Graduated from the Central University of Ecuador, owns a diploma in traditional Chinese engraving at CAFA, Beijing. Pursued studies in Visual Anthropology at PUCP and Ceramics in Lima, Peru. Awarded with the 1st National Prize for Engraving, House of Culture of Guayas 1993. And a 1st Honorable Mention Bienal of Lima 1997. Worked as co-director for “Positive Art Workshop” in Beijing, “El Camión del Arte” in Ecuador, Yangon Art and Heritage Festival 2015 – 2017 in Myanmar. She is also and art teacher.
Since 2013 she began to work in ceramics following courses with Nanay Valdivia and then at the Workshop-school of Sonia Céspedes Rossel both in Lima.
