How can ancient craft and modern algorithms transform your next architectural project?

We invite interior designers, architects, and private clients to an exclusive Design Talk with Guillaume Slizewicz and Françoise Lombaers. They will present the TESSELLES method: a revolutionary approach to creating custom-made mosaics for walls, floors, and even ceilings.

The collaboration between Françoise Lombaers and Guillaume Slizewicz revolves around the process of mosaic creation. To democratize this technique and enable its application on large surfaces, Françoise conceived a unique assembly principle using square tesserae, with which she composes patterns inspired by ceramics and textiles.
To generate new aesthetics, they worked together on the design of patterns through algorithms, exploring the constraints of the square and the tools already utilized by Françoise. These algorithms, with their specific rules, allow for a random generation of patterns following a determined logic. Their research focused on the ability to represent movement and generate natural organic forms.

As a result, an infinite array of possibilities emerged, where natural mimicry harmoniously embraces the desired surface. From this collaboration, four patterns were born: Mycelium, Prim-Jarnik, Game of Life, and Waves.

Why attend?
• Infinite Customization: Discover how their generative system creates unique organic movements tailored to your specific space.
• High-Performance Materials: Made of high-resistance porcelain stoneware (grès cérame), these mosaics are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
• Local & Sustainable: Proudly designed and crafted locally in Belgium.

Whether you are looking for a statement floor or a monumental wall texture, this talk will demonstrate how to integrate this innovative medium into your universe.
