This collaboration is particularly special for me, as Benoît and I discovered a profound common ground through our shared passion for art and technology. It’s this synergy that has allowed us to bring his exceptional talent to the forefront with this inaugural exhibition. Benoît’s unique attraction to new technologies, intrinsically linked with photography – common to my background too – within a mystical and mythological context, makes this innovative presentation truly resonate. His work perfectly embodies the forward-thinking spirit Subtile champions.

About the artist
Benoît Theunissen (Luxembourg) is a polymorphic visual artist whose practice spans surreal photography, glitch art, digital painting and AI-assisted creation. His work probes contemporary imaginaries through dream, intuition, experimentation and emerging technologies — in service of a central question: how do we perceive when our senses meet machines?
“Born before the fall of the Berlin Wall, I belong to the last generation to have known an analogue world — a reference point from which I question our hyper-technological present, fascinated by conscious AI, augmented vision, cognitive over-performance and longevity. I use digital tools not to speed up the race but to place it in brackets: to summon symbols, archetypes and fragments of reality that interrogate our collective unconscious and the place of the human.
